The Act of Writing Well

ADVERTISEMENT HERE
Just like every other skill, writing requires a true passion, definite aim and consistent quest to thrive above average, unless you just want to be any other writer without definition.
It would be hard for any real society to exist without writers. What artists do with pictures, we do with writing. Whether you are doing content or creative writing or any sort of the art, there has to be the genuine presence of an imaginative mind. Without these values embedded or imbibed in you, you will find it hard to cross the border of "just other writer".
Now if you have read down to this point, you are more willing to explore your new traits.
Let me put down the seven principles to ingenious writing:

1) Brevity
Brevity is the soul of wit.
(William Shakespeare, Hamlet)
Keep it simple, keep it short, and all concise.
2) Definition (i.e.Clarity)
Avoid ambiguity. Always be distinct and lucid to perceptions.
3)Communication
Writing involves the imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions or information to influence our fellows. The art of writing depends a good deal on putting the strongest words in the most important places. But also ensure your diction is friendly and nice; and not bossy.
4)Honesty
Do not write presumptuously or take to  too long words. Stay original in your skill, there's no need to cultivate eccentricity.
5)Fervor
This is the bloodline through which life and literature pass through. Your writing will pronounce your most earnest feeling and the intensity with which you paint words. If the fervor is poor, your write-up will drawl.
6)Edification
Instruct and uplift yourself by reading good books. Be open- minded to new and advanced knowledge. A writer who does not read, will soon forget how to use a pen.
7)Have Fun
Up the hill, down the valley, writing is your hobby, your escape, your right, your expression, it is you in words. Give it all you have got, when it turns out well; bask in it and if it doesn't work out so well, don't despair. Whatever happens, keep doing it.
With these simple guides, you are ready to start stepping up from being just another writer to becoming that erudite writer.
All the best.
